Hi! My name is Katherine Feng, a student at Washington University in St. Louis studying Computer Science and Statistics with a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.

I'm very passionate about the intersection of technology and people-driven solutions. Growing up in a small town in rural South Carolina with little resources compared to metropolitan or coastal regions, I relied on my tight-knit circle and those around me to help me grow personally as well as professionally. Through my career, my biggest goal is to be able to give back to underserved communities in as many ways I can, most specifically by employing computer science to empower and uplift people.

In my free time, I love spending time outdoors hiking and camping, baking, crosswords, hot yoga, making art, and going to local music shows. I'm also currently learning guitar, and I used to play in a band in high school (and when I'm at home from college)! You can listen to us on Spotify @TangerineScene!
